Shine at La Luz!Shining is another integral part of the La Luz experience.

La Luz means “The Light” and that is exactly what we want to be to our community. We want to shine! This will be accomplished in the following ways:

1) The Monthly Service Project - Once every month the owners, employees and patrons will join together and shine our light by serving others. You may sign up to serve at the restaurant or online. If the volunteer list for the project is full see the link for other opportunities to serve these worthy causes.

June: Feed My Starving Children - Eagan - June 21st 9-11am (28 Volunteers)

July: Amnion Pregnancy Center - Cash donation, diapers and wipes

August: Book Bags and supplies collection for District 196

September: Food Drive for Second Harvest - Single Mom’s Oil Changes

October:  Coats for Kids

November: Delivering Turkeys for Thanksgiving

December: Operation Angel Tree & Adopt a Veteran Program

2) Mom’s Club - At La Luz we want to serve local families by serving Mom’s and kids. For more information see the “MOM”S” page.  Temporarily postponed

3) Serving hurting families. Do you know a family in need? A family suffering through a severe illness? A family suffering through a great loss? La Luz and our patrons want to help through meals, clothing or just by serving their real needs.
